Air Products in Germany chooses BT to provide vital lifelines for patients

Air Products Medical GmbH supports 27,000 chronically ill patients. The company’s gases and ancillary products are vital – life sustaining, even – to those people. Their calls must never go astray or unanswered.

Renay Merdan carries the heavy responsibility of ensuring that the Air Products communications infrastructure is up to the job. He chose a BT Cloud Contact next generation contact centre to replace decentralised legacy systems, a decision not made lightly.

Now call-answering performance exceeds stipulated service levels, while agent resources are being used more efficiently. That’s a win-win for Air Products and its customers if ever there was one.

“We mainly care for sufferers from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. For these people we’re literally a lifeline. Just like the emergency services, when they pick up the phone there must always be someone on the other end to deal with their problem.”

Renay Merdan, Customer Service Manager, Air Products Medical GmbH
