Overview
Improved productivity for hospital-based Council people, while patients get better care
For City of Edinburgh Council staff based at seven NHS hospitals, access to the Council’s IT systems was limited and inefficient. Time was being wasted.
Now those 170 people can use both Council and NHS applications from an internet-connected PC anywhere, using a BT Compute virtual desktop infrastructure. That means they can work much more flexibly with total security.
Hospital-based people have a better work life balance and are more productive. Patients are better cared for. Everyone wins.
