Low margins from its petrol retailing business prompted Repsol YPF to expand into more profitable non-fuel sales at its service stations. But to operate efficiently, a reliable, secure network was needed to connect its 3,800 outlets to head office, allowing automated payments and stock control of non-fuel goods. The BT solution has increased available bandwidth and cut Repsol YPF’s networking costs, as well as providing the company with a platform for its future expansion.
