Wessex Water needed to replace the infrastructure connecting its network of telemetry sensors to its control centre.
BT executed a migration to FeatureLine Corporate, offering inclusive unlimited site-to-site calls between company sites.
The cost effective and fully scalable solution has 400 lines connecting telemetry equipment at 320 different locations.
Wessex Water employs over 2,000 people providing water and sewage treatment services to Dorset, Somerset, Bristol, and most of Wiltshire, as well as parts of Gloucestershire and Hampshire. Water is supplied through 110 water treatment works, 209 pumping stations, 344 service reservoirs, and over 11,400 kilometres of water mains. The company also maintains 16,700 kilometres of sewers and operates 405 sewage treatment works. Each and every day the company supplies some one-and-a-quarter million people with around 353 million litres of water, and treats 490 million litres of sewage.
