Group Konecta: Global virtual contact centre solution for leading outsourcer

    Challenge

Separate IT infrastructures acquired through acquisition made operational efficiency savings hard to achieve and increased the technical support burden

    Solution

BT‘s MPLS network interconnects existing Konecta platforms over a converged infrastructure and underpins a BT hosted IP Contact Centre

    Value

The flexible and scalable solution allows Konecta to distribute services across different countries with security and resilience at lower cost

    Client

Founded in 1999, Grupo Konecta leads the Spanish business process outsourcing market. The company is headquartered in Madrid and employs nearly 12,000 people across 21 centres from Argentina to Colombia and Portugal to the UK. It provides outsourcing, marketing, recruitment, and training services on a global basis. With more than 400 clients across the finance, insurance, services, health, telecommunications, and public sectors, 2009 sales were €254 million.
