    BT outsourcing deal helps PaperlinX Europe integrate its operating companies

    Sourcing and distributing paper takes fast supplier communication. Having grown through acquisition, PaperlinX Europe found that rather difficult. A fragmented network was difficult to manage, while liaison between PaperlinX operating companies was patchy.

    As Vice President for Europe, the very last thing that Marcus Gillioen wanted was to sort out service issues. An outsourcing solution was the answer, and BT Global Services was chosen to provide it.

    Now a BT IP Connect pan-European network, with application acceleration technology from Riverbed, means PaperlinX can make the most of its scale and integrate its supply chain.
