BT wins Cisco's 'Dutch Service Provider Partner of the Year' award

BT again Cisco’s most important Dutch service provider
At the recent annual partner diner of Cisco Netherlands, BT received the 'Service Provider Partner of the Year 'award, in line with the recognition it received last year. Each year, Cisco Netherlands recognises partners who have realised impressive growth or distinguished themselves in other ways.
Daan de Groot, head of partner organisation Cisco Netherlands, said: “BT is a very professional service provider and has made significant progress with further developing its Cisco-based Cloud & Managed Services portfolio. By proactively positioning these services in all Cisco-markets and segments, in conjunction with our On-Premise Cisco proposition, BT generated significant new business in the Netherlands.”
Kris Spruyt, head of solutions at BT Benelux, who accepted the award, added: “It’s fantastic to see that the focus on cloud services which we announced last year – our ‘Cloud of Clouds’ vision – makes us win another award. As a cloud services integrator, we help customers move confidently and successfully along their cloud journey whilst minimising the complexity, risk and cost; to give them a choice of roadmaps that work for their organisation, in a way that will deliver the results they need.”
Spruyt concludes: “We manage the whole process from network to cloud, we deal with third parties, deliver performance and security and simplify pricing, all under one single Service Level Agreement.”
BT's Benelux organisation achieved Cisco Gold Partner status in 2004 and in 2008 BT received a Global Certification, recognising that it meets the training requirements and program prerequisites to sell, implement and support Cisco's highly sophisticated solutions globally.
In the Netherlands BT focuses on an extensive networked IT services portfolio designed for multinationals, government agencies and local organisations with complex demands. Its BT Advise teams provide consulting, integration, staffing and managed services through global knowledge centres, organised around core competencies, including security, unified communications and cloud.
