BT has been active in Germany since 1995. Today, BT is the country’s leading supplier of global network and IT services, with more than 1,000 corporate and public sector customers. We help our customers improve their national and global competitiveness, building solutions matched to their individual needs. BT Germany has also taken responsibility to develop BT’s business in Austria.
BT Germany offers a wide range of networked IT products, services and expertise, from voice telephony, hosting and storage to solutions for call centres, mobile working, security and business continuity. These range from standardised products to managed services and the outsourcing of entire operations. With the recent acquisition of Stemmer GmbH, a German IT services specialist, BT has further strengthened its capabilities in the German market in areas like Unified Communications, IP Telephony and IT Security. BT Germany has over 1,450 employees and in the financial year 2007/08 (Status: 31.3.2008) had a turnover of EUR 1.014 billion - about 21% up on the previous year.
“After we had already achieved a sustained profitable growth above market level over the past years, we now have delivered strong proof that we are a top player in both national and international projects. Especially large multinational corporations value the fact that we can offer our services in 170 countries around the world, besides having a strong presence in Germany.”
Karsten Lereuth, CEO, BT Germany

With bandwidths up to 10 Gbit/s, and network availability in excess of 99.99%, we provide smooth and reliable communication between your employees, suppliers, partners and customers. This is complemented by connectivity to BT’s global network, with coverage in more than 170 countries. BT also operates local fibre optic networks (City Fibre Networks) in Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Munich and Stuttgart.
