This is now nearly 3 months since EE has been brought into BT Group and a month since my team has joined the new BT Global Services Voice and Roaming unit led by Damien Staples, VP Wholesale Voice and Roaming.
I am impressed to see how much we have already achieved in this short period of time reaching our first integration milestone smoothly, setting up clear business priorities and embracing strong corporate values to deliver our future challenges.
My team will bring on their experience of successfully navigating through major business change such as the integration following the Joint venture between Orange and T-Mobile in April 2010. We are also keen to continue building on our Roaming Business transformation programme where we shifted from a wholesale approach to a customer centric approach back in 2013.
I feel very excited about the future opportunities brought by EE’s network leadership alongside BT’s scale and capabilities which give us the platform to strengthen our existing Roaming partnerships and bring new ones in. I am looking forward to pursuing these opportunities in the coming weeks and meeting many of you at ITW. If you would like to set up a meeting at ITW, please write to us.
