In-Store Music for retailers

Music acts powerfully on human emotions and can be a hugely powerful presence in store, creating energy, warmth and an immediate rapport with customers. Listening to the right music can also make a big difference to employees, helping them to feel positive about themselves and their work.

With its unobtrusive, pocket sized music player, our cloud-based music solution allows you to introduce music and other radio services into stores. Carefully chosen playlists will reflect your brand and customer demographics. You’ll also have peace of mind knowing that you comply with regulations that govern the duplication and playing of music. Out of trading hours, it also makes a great new channel for employee communications.

Music updates are downloaded automatically via the internet. Your player can store hundreds of playlists so that you can have continuous broadcasting even without an internet connection (unlike a streaming service, which can be subject to interruption). No input is required from your corporate IT team. The service is cloud hosted and a dedicated multilingual BT helpdesk will look after you if you need help. You pay for the service with a straightforward monthly fee.

Once you have your music service in place, you can build on it with a range of additional services such as

  • Broadcasting in house ads for seasonal promotions or competitions.
  • DJ-style commentary to entertain and inform shoppers.
  • Deliver training for sales associates, with quick information bursts at opening and closing times.
