BT is now a Leader in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Unified Communications as a Service, Worldwide, published 23rd August 2016. We feel we improved our position on last year, moving from the challenger quadrant, and BT is now positioned highest in the leaders’ quadrant for our ability to execute.

Cloud based unified communications from BT is available from a range of world leading suppliers via BT One Cloud.

One Cloud Cisco Hosted Collaboration Solution (HCS)
HCS is the natural evolution of our successful One Cloud Cisco platform, with which we have many years’ experience and manage over 170,000 users. This gives us a deep experience in managing cloud capabilities.

HCS offers full UC capability - including

  • HD voice for greater clarity on audio calls
  • multiparty HD video to make those virtual meetings even richer
  • IM and presence so you are able to see who’s free and get quick answers to questions – speeding up decision making
  • mobile clients delivered by Cisco Jabber

HCS is available from BT with a no commitment contract.

One Cloud Microsoft Skype for Business
One Cloud Microsoft has the same feature set as the on-site Skype for Business Server 2016, which now includes:

  • Video Interop server – allowing a wider community to join in.
  • Call via Work – Call from Skype for Business using your desk phone for audio
  • Integration with the Skype directory – Skype for Business users can connect over the Internet with hundreds of millions of Skype users right from the Skype for Business user interface.
  • Call Monitor – switch between a full Skype for Business window, and a compact version that lets you continue to monitor call progress
  • Familiar look and feel – reduces training costs and increases adoption as users will be familiar with Skype from home or college

With One Cloud Microsoft we can combine full enterprise voice with the standard feature set of presence, instant messaging and conferencing in a single, unified platform. It can be deployed as a Cloud or Enterprise solution, or even a hybrid solution where appropriate.

Quality service and support

Our service has high service level agreements throughout your network, supported by sophisticated tools for diagnosing faults- and of course we offer round-the-clock helpdesk support.

Proactive alarm monitoring - we monitor devices and interfaces for alarms and basic life signs to spot potential problems.

Proactive fault management - we monitor how devices are performing, looking at indicators like central processing unit (CPU) and backplane, infrastructure ports and infrastructure port protocol use and errors.

Critical port monitoring -we monitor nominated individual ports at set intervals.

Patching -BT will manage installation of any patching of the applications as required to meet vendor guidelines.
