BT appoints Martin Maurits as Country Manager Nordics

BT today announced the appointment of Martin Maurits as country manager for BT’s Nordics operation, reporting to Luca Zappia, CEO of the SNCR region (Switzerland, Nordics, Central- and Eastern Europe and Russia).

Before joining BT in 2009 as sales director for the Benelux region, Martin was division director Integrated and Enterprise Solutions at ICT services provider Getronics, dealing with international clients in the financial industry.

Martin also spend nine years with Dutch telecom incumbent KPN, where he held several senior management positions, including five years as managing director Managed Application Services. He started his career in 1988 with IBM as account manager.

Martin holds a degree in Business Economics from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam and successfully graduated the International Management Development Program in Lausanne.

Martin Maurits succeeds to Carl-Erik Lagercrantz, who has decided to leave BT to take on new challenges.
