Celebrating Excellence – The Way We Work Awards – 2015

cabinet office logoTo celebrate excellence in work transformation, the Cabinet Office are launching The Way We Work Awards, recognising achievements across the Civil Service reform programme.

This is the first of what will become an annual event. Initially limited to the Cabinet Office teams, in future years the awards will champion work transformation across Government.

The Way We Work (TW3) is the Cabinet Office led cross-departmental programme designed to help realise the Civil Service Reform Plan’s aim of ‘Creating a decent working environment for all staff, with modern workplaces enabling flexible working, substantially improving IT tools and streamlining security requirements to be less burdensome for staff’.

Why should you participate in the awards?

This is an exciting opportunity to showcase and champion the best in class smart working programmes across the Civil Service and the wider public. 

The awards ceremony will be hosted by BT at the BT Tower on the 22nd January.

Who is eligible?

The awards are open to anyone involved in delivering work transformation as part of the TW3 programme.

Categories

  • Culture and People – Best cultural change to achieve Smart Working (organisation)
  • Corporate Leadership - Best example of leadership in Smart Working (individual, team or organisation [ALB or department])
  • Workspace – Best optimisation of a property portfolio for Smart Working (team or organisation)
  • Technology – Best utilisation of technology to enable mobility and collaboration (individual, team or organisation)

How to enter?

To submit your nomination download and complete all sections of the TW3 entry form and email it to TW3information@cabinetoffice.gov.uk  

Submissions can be made into more than one category

deadline 12/12/2014
Submissions must be received by 12 noon on 12/12/2014, any submissions received after this date will not be included in the judging process.

Next steps

If you are successfully shortlisted you will be notified by email on 19/12/2014, the short list will also be announced here. 

Only those shortlisted will be able to attend the presentation at the BT Tower on the 22nd January. 

The judge’s decision will be final.
