Customers once again vote BT’s financial services network provider as number one!

(07 August 2015)

The BT Radianz Cloud is ranked Best Network Provider in the 2015 Waters Technology rankings

Financial services customers recently chose BT as their Best Network Provider in the 2015 Waters Technology Rankings.

Readers of Waters Technology — a daily news & analysis for sell-side financial trading markets with a subscription of 30,450 financial technology professionals worldwide — were asked to vote for their favorite technology providers. They once again chose BT as number one for its BT Radianz Cloud – the world’s largest secure networked financial services cloud community.

When writing about why BT was voted Best Network Provider, Waters Technology said: “The key strength of the Radianz Cloud lies not only in the sheer reach the network provides its members—literally thousands of financial service providers including brokers, exchanges, market data sources, analytics and clearing firms—but also its range of offered services. Consolidating external market connectivity through a single gateway, Radianz Cloud offers secure access to trading partners and services across all asset classes, incorporating post-trade, exchanges, order execution, brokerage firms, IP voice channels, and FX trading capabilities.” (Full Waters Technology award win write-up available in resources, below.)

Andrew Housden, vice president, financial technology services, BT, said: “The fact that these awards are customer-driven makes them incredibly valuable. In this competitive market, reputation is everything. We truly value the client recognition that this award represents.

“To be ranked number one network provider by our customers is particularly significant in the year that BT celebrates the 15th anniversary of Radianz. Since its inception, the industry has consistently recognised the continued innovation that Radianz services have brought to the market. We are proud of our heritage of pioneering solutions and look forward to many more years of introducing innovative technology to help our customers address their industry challenges.”

The BT Radianz Cloud is a living example of BT’s ‘cloud of clouds’, approach that gives firms greater control over how they use cloud-based applications and services.

Cloud of clouds combines organisations’ needs for choice, flexibility and security with a services provider that knows how to make it work together. Based on secure, managed connectivity spanning public and private clouds as well as third party cloud providers, this cloud of clouds approach helps organisations integrate and manage all their cloud services in a seamless manner, delivering end-to-end application performance and efficiency.
