BT Agent Plus and Consignment Monitoring Service are supported by most of the world's airlines.
Easily access all the information you need
Agent Plus allows you to easily create air waybills and monitor consignments without the need for specialist software.
The Agent Plus service allows forwarders to:
- Enter and save your air waybill data.
- Retrieve previously saved air waybill information.
- Print the waybill and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) 606 barcode.
- Send the waybill electronically to the appropriate airline or customer.
- Enable consignees and others to view the waybill form electronically in advance of the paper copy.
A central secure database is used to manage your shipper and consignee accounts. You will have full access to "add," "update," "delete" and "display" commands for your own consignments, but other users cannot amend your data. Your account is password protected and your data is secure.
A single password gives you access to both Agent Plus and Consignment Monitoring Service.
Consignment Monitoring Service
The Consignment Monitoring Service provides you with a constantly updated view of the status of all your consignments carried on participating airlines. This service has an easy-to-use interface that shows you what you need to see at a single glance, eliminating the need to key in details for each respective air waybill. The convenience of the service reduces the time that you have to spend online or checking on the phone. The Consignment Monitoring Service database is hosted from a secure BT data centre in the United Kingdom.
A successful combination
Both Agent Plus and the Consignment Monitoring Service allow air logistics service providers to securely access essential business information from any Internet connection in any location. They form a complementary service to enhance your business performance – helping to reduce the complexity of your air waybill data management and providing you with up-to-date consignment status information.
A practical tool to access your vital air cargo data
BT Agent Plus and Consignment Monitoring Service help air logistics service providers securely access essential business information using any Internet connection – in any location – without needing specialised software. You just log in to a secure website that is only accessible to registered users with a recognised user ID and password.
Once online you are able to access updated departure and arrival information for most airlines worldwide. Data remains available online for seven days. You may select and save the information that you need for archival or performance analysis purposes.
Information on display includes detailed profiles and text for all your air waybills. You can sort these entries by air waybill number, destination or origin airport, status time or even status type to suit your individual needs. Selections can also be made to only show consignments from or to certain airports, for given date ranges or for event types. So, for instance, you could select only your consignments that have been delivered to a specific airport during the past two days or those due to depart from another in the next 24 hours.
Where more information is required, you can click on the box at the end of each status line, and full flight status update (FSU) details will be shown at the bottom of the screen. A status update request can also be initiated from this screen.
