Cloud based unified communications from BT is available from a range of world leading suppliers via BT One Cloud. We are continually expanding our global coverage on our One Cloud Cisco, One Cloud Microsoft Lync and One Cloud iComms platforms.
One Cloud Cisco Hosted Collaboration Solution (HCS)
HCS is the natural evolution of our successful One Cloud Cisco platform– up to now based on the HUCS platform, with which we have many years experience and manage over 170,000 users. This gives us a deep experience in managing cloud capabilities.
HCS offers full UC capability - including
- HD voice
- multiparty HD video to make those virtual meetings even richer
- IM and presence so you are able to see who’s free and get quick answers to questions –speeding up decision making.
- mobile clients delivered by Cisco Jabber
HCS is available from BT with a no commitment contract.
One Cloud for Microsoft Lync 2013
One Cloud Lync has the same featureset as the on-site Lync Server 2013, which now includes:
- multiparty HD video to increase effectiveness of conferencing
- more functional Lync mobile clients to improve the end user experience
- integration with Skype enables presence visibility and communication outside the organisation
With One Cloud Lync we can combine full enterprise voice with the standard feature set of presence, instant messaging and conferencing in a single, unified platform. It can be deployed as a Cloud or Enterprise solution, or even a hybrid solution where appropriate. We are Premier Support Lync Partners (PSLP), so you can be assured of great service capabilities.
One Cloud iComms (UK)
Avaialble in the UK, One Cloud iComms offers:
- Full geographic survivability architecture for peace of mind.
- Includes SIP HD handset within tariff – “Handsets for Life” offer
- IL3 and CESG approved service offerings make it ideal for Public Sector deployments
Our BT Advise One professional services team can help integrate either the cloud Cisco or cloud Lync service into your existing infrastructure, so need to rip and replace – you build on your exiting investments.
Your administrators handle their own moves and changes, or, dependent on the platform chosen you could use our helpdesk to do it for you – you choose what suits you best.
We aim to spot faults early and fast. Our diagnostics services come with back-up from support engineers and include:
- recognising and reporting problems
- analysing how severe faults are and prioritising them
- diagnosing faults in detail
- reporting and tracking problems online
- fixing faults remotely
- keeping you up to date
- keeping a fault history log
- sending vendor alerts
Proactive alarm monitoring - we monitor devices and interfaces for alarms and basic life signs to spot potential problems.
Proactive fault management - we monitor how devices are performing, looking at indicators like central processing unit (CPU) and backplane, infrastructure ports and infrastructure port protocol use and errors.
Critical port monitoring - we monitor nominated individual ports at set intervals.
Patching - BT will manage installation of any patching of the applications as required to meet vendor guidelines
One Cloud around the world
One Cloud Cisco is available for use in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific.
One Cloud Microsoft Lync launched in North America in November 2012, and is avaialble in Europe, LATAM and Asia pacific.
One Cloud iComms is available in both UK and Spain.
Great service, or you pay less
As well as offering the efficiency that goes with having a single bill from a single supplier, we set ourselves high standards for performance and service. Our Service Level Agreement means that if we ever fall short of our commitments for delivery, service availability and fault-fixing, you get credits on your account.
