Let us offer you some insights on cloud UC and video from an external analyst viewpoint.

IDC MarketScape* reports for unified communications and cloud based video

BT was recently (December 2015) named a “leader” in two new IDC MarketScape reports: the Worldwide Unified Communications-as-a-Service (UCaaS) Provider 2015 Vendor Assessment and the Western Europe Video Cloud Services MNCs 2015-2016 Vendor Assessment.

IDC MarketScape WorldwideIDC MarketScape Western Europe

Noting BT Global Services’ strategy, capabilities and track record, the IDC reports highlight the strong presence of BT’s global unified communications (UC) solutions, as well as its cloud services capabilities.

Although enterprises will continue to invest in on-premises solutions, cloud-based UC&C and UCaaS solutions will continue to gain traction at the expense of premises-based deployments

Mobility and BYOD, the growing popularity of videoconferencing, and exploding demand for collaborative applications and cloud delivery models are fueling much of the current market momentum

The IDC MarketScape also state that “BT has a broad portfolio of services that complement its UCaaS offerings, including network services, SIP Trunking and voice solutions, and security, hosting, and managed services.”

So whether it’s voice, IM and presence, video or desktop sharing we have a cloud solution for it.

One Cloud benefits

One Cloud makes it easy to set up unified communications across different sites and different countries, so you can start saving, and working more effectively, straight away. We partner with world leading companies like Cisco and Microsoft to deliver the communications that are just right for you.

  • We make communications easier: We host the platform centrally in our secure data centres and look after everything for you. This makes it cheaper to run, easier to manage, and it’s always up to date so there’s less risk. You can also add new sites or users without the need for large upfront investment.
  • Don’t waste what you’ve already bought: Our solution makes the most of the voice and data services you’ve invested in; building on these to add the tools you need to help you work better.
  • Choose the right services: With one network connecting all your sites you’ll be able to deliver the capabilities required to individuals, teams or sites.
  • You control your network and your costs: Our online management portal makes it easy for you to make real-time changes to your network, scaling up or down when you need to, and adding new features and technologies when you’re ready.

Quality service and support

Our service has high service level agreements throughout your network, supported by sophisticated tools for diagnosing faults- and of course we offer round-the-clock helpdesk support.

Your benefit, our responsibility

Because we’re responsible for hosting the service, you’ll always get the latest technology, without extra costs and with less risk – in tariff upgrades to the latest software mean you don’t have to set aside future budget to keep up to date.

*IDC MarketScape vendor analysis model is designed to provide an overview of the competitive fitness of ICT suppliers in a given market. The research methodology utilizes a rigorous scoring methodology based on both qualitative and quantitative criteria that results in a single graphical illustration of each vendor’s position within a given market. The Capabilities score measures vendor product, go-to-market and business execution in the short-term. The Strategy score measures alignment of vendor strategies with customer requirements in a 3-5-year timeframe. Vendor market share is represented by the size of the circles. Vendor year-over-year growth rate relative to the given market is indicated by a plus, neutral or minus next to the vendor name.
