One Cloud Featurenet is a family of virtual private network (VPN) services that includes Featurenet 1000 and Featurenet 5000. Both services achieve similar benefits; however, there are some key differences and features.
- Featurenet 1000 is compatible with private branch exchange (PBX) technology. It integrates your existing (separate) voice communication infrastructures with a digital private network signalling system (DPNSS) with the minimum amount of technological change.
- Featurenet 5000 uses voiceover internet protocol (VoIP) technology to supply the benefits of a dedicated PBX without having to invest in, manage and administer your own. This can help your organisation move towards a converged communication network at a quicker pace.
- Featurenet 1000 and Featurenet 5000 can be mixed and matched within the same VPN according to your organisation's specific requirements.
- Direct dialling inward (DDI) functionality is available on both Featurenet 1000 and Featurenet 5000 for direct personal access from outside the VPN.
