BT Americas appoints Jennifer Artley as new Chief Operating Officer

Enterprise technology veteran joins BT to lead portfolio, strategy and business development
BT has appointed Jennifer Artley as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) for BT Americas. Jennifer brings more than 20 years of technology, sales and business development experience to the BT Americas leadership team.
As COO, Artley will be responsible for managing BT’s portfolio of products and services under BT Advise and BT Conferencing, as well as strategy and business development across the Americas. This includes portfolio management, sales administration, business management and BT’s strategy framework. Artley will report to Bas Burger, President of BT Americas.

Artley joins BT from Equinix, an IBX data center & colocation provider, where she was accountable for global sales enablement. Previously, she spent 13 years at Level 3 Communications, most recently serving as senior vice president of the Commercial Enablement Group. She was responsible for all commercial and complex deal support for the North America sales organization, as well as sales effectiveness and sales compensation. She also managed the solutions architects and collaboration sales overlay teams.
Before joining Level 3, Artley was with A.T. Kearney, Booz Allen Hamilton and Kaiser Associates in various consulting roles over a span of seven years. Artley received her MBA and master’s degree in Management and International Studies with a concentration in Latin America from The Wharton School and The Lauder Institute of the University of Pennsylvania.
