One Enterprise Unify

Unify – OpenScape product suite and Circuit

Overview

Unify your communications with OpenScape.

BT One Enterprise Unify delivers OpenScape, an easy-to-use platform that brings together multiple networks, devices and applications into one, simple interface. OpenScape is an end-to-end portfolio of unified communications (UC) software that includes chat, messaging, mobility, presence, video, voice and web-conferencing features — on any device.

OpenScape provides tools that give fast access to the right people on the first attempt, regardless of where they are, what device they use, or what network they are on. With just one number, your user has access to conferencing, messaging and the availability of colleagues. And plug-ins can easily add your existing collaboration software, business processes software, contact centre requirements and social media into the OpenScape platform.

The platform makes it easy to bring together a range of IT and telephony set-ups with existing software from Microsoft or IBM.  All main clients can collaborate over the web with OpenScape available as mobile clients, including Android, Apple iOS, BlackBerry and Windows.

And, if your users are mobile, they can web conference with an iPhone, iPad, Android, or other smartphone or tablet devices.

Unify developed OpenScape using Services Orientated Architecture (SOA), an open-standards approach that makes it much easier to integrate any other software. This means your people can access key contacts and information without having to switch applications or search directories. We can even set up OpenScape so you can initiate all your comms and collaboration directly from within your preferred interface.

Migration to OpenScape is straightforward: it can work with your existing networked system, making the most of your investment. And it has a modular structure that means you can add in elements as you need them.

We can implement OpenScape to meet the specific needs and working practices of your organisation, making sure your people can have the rich and meaningful conversations that promote good business.

The benefits

Effective communication — and more.

Choose the way of collaborating that’s right for your organisation and harness the power of the team.

  • Reduce the overall cost of communications. OpenScape uses lowest-cost routing protocols, data centre consolidation, centralised SIP trunking and efficient design to bring costs down.
  • Increase your organisation’s efficiency. OpenScape offers the advanced communication technologies that mean more meetings can happen virtually. Also, you can bring in home or remote workers to your network without delay.
  • Gain competitive advantage. OpenScape has the flexibility to support new ways of working, making sure you can make decisions faster and be more responsive to your customers.
  • Relax, knowing we’ve taken care of security. We create a tailored security strategy using patented technology and leading solutions to protect your OpenScape platform. We include: password protection, session locking, encryption, authentication, replay protection, cryptography, and authorisation and policy enforcement. Plus all web collaboration sessions are temporary and leave no residual data or entries on the registry.
  • A flexible approach to deployment. Our open-standards platform supports a variety of deployment options: on-premise, public cloud, private cloud or hybrid. Plus it’s device and operating-system agnostic. And it’s scalable; its modular and flexible design makes it easy and cost-effective for you to add or change functionality on a per-user basis.
  • Peace-of-mind support. OpenScape comes with global service, 24/7 support and the assurance of a single point of contact. You can choose from our managed service, advanced performance management or proactive support options, depending on what best suits you.
