Ruth’s career in cyber security started when a former boss put his head around the door and enquired, “how technical are you”?

Eight years on, Ruth’s work involves identifying what customers will want from their security solutions in the future, so that we can be ready to deliver it. Ruth also leads BT’s engagement on cyber security with politicians and officials, to make sure that UK cyber security policy benefits from our decades of experience. She has previously worked for Crispin Blunt MP, the Home Affairs Select Committee, Deloitte, Policy Exchange and techUK.
