General FAQs

Our current entry point is 30 users with a minimum of 10 per site.

We offer contracts from a minimum of 12 months to a maximum of five years.

Trial 10-users free for three months which runs until 30 June 2022* (*T&C’s apply). If you’re happy with the trial and want to deploy Operator Connect there’ll be a minimum order of 30 users. You can have group / service numbers on the trial.

All you need to do is give consent to BT within your Teams Admin Center (TAC) portal along with your emergency contacts – we’ll create your order and start the trial.

You can cut the trial short at any time and start a paid subscription and if you wish, port the number in the trial.

We can deploy Operator Connect within days, however this is dependent on the country and if you want new numbers or number porting.  We’ll work to get you up and running as soon as possible.

Yes, we can mix the packages at a country level – with all sites on the same package.

We can accommodate each country having a different package, for now we’ll capture that when you speak to one of our Operator Connect team. 

Your contract is with BT only. It’s separate to your OneBill contract so you’ll receive two bills.

Early termination fees apply. Charges are based on the number of subscribed users remaining in the subscription term of the order form.

No, we don’t support them currently on GSIP – although we’re working on it.

Yes, we generally allocate new number first and then port numbers. Porting timelines may vary depending on the carrier or platform you are moving away from. We recommend that you consider purchasing new numbers where possible to make the migration process faster and avoid any associated porting charges that may occur.

You can run multiple voice services side by side, so if you have a Microsoft Calling plan, Direct Routing or even Operator Connect from another provider you can leave that in place and add our service beside it. If you’ve numbers with a different  supplier that you want to keep you can port these across, however you’ll need to allow additional time for the numbers to be released from your outgoing carrier to us as your new provider.

Additional charges may apply. To avoid any porting charges or delay in the stand up of your service we recommend that you consider purchasing new numbers where possible.

International calls to fixed and mobile destinations to 24 countries are included. All other calls will be charged based on the ratecard. The 24 countries included currently are: Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom and United States.
