In May 2018, the EU’s flagship data-protection regulation, GDPR, will come into effect. Offering EU citizens greater protections for their personal information, the GDPR may force you to change how you handle data within your organisation.
You’ll need to make sure that data protection is built into every level of your business. And you’ll have to pay more attention to the privacy implications of your everyday processes.
Avoiding the consequences of failure.
Fail to comply with the GDPR, and you’ll be on the end of some stiff penalties. This could include fines of up to four per cent of your annual global turnover.
