Africa’s economy has made a remarkable economic turnaround in the past years. Buoyed by rising foreign direct investment in natural resources, the world’s largest youth demographic and higher agricultural production, the growth of the region is expected to stay above 5% throughout 2015.
The 25th World Economic Forum on Africa will take place in a significant year for Africa, which marks the end of the Millennium Development Goals aimed at eradicating poverty. Leaders will assess the past 25 years and craft new ways to make growth inclusive and sustainable.
BT became a Strategic Partner of the World Economic Forum in 2005 and actively participates in the Annual Meeting, regional summits and events, and a range of communities and initiatives throughout the year.
