World Economic Forum on East Asia 2015
19 - 21 April 2015
East Asia continues to be the world’s fastest-growing and most populous region, and the economic growth rate is expected to stay above 7% throughout 2015. However, geopolitical tensions, resource scarcity and the highs and lows of spreading digital connectivity are obstacles on the path to prosperity.
Marking a return to Indonesia after three years, the 24th World Economic Forum on East Asia will take place just months after the inauguration of the third democratically elected government under President Joko Widodo. It will offer a chance for leaders from various sectors to improve trust in public and private institutions, and promote sustainable development.
