BT’s cloud management platform wins TMForum Excellence Award
Prestigious award for BT’s new Compute Management System that helps customers realise potential in the Cloud.
BT won Open Digital Ecosystem award at the prestigious 2015 TM Forum Excellence Awards for its Compute Management System, a cloud management platform. The Excellence Awards were announced at a gala dinner at the Palais de la Méditerranée in Nice on June 1 at TM Forum Live!, TM Forum’s flagship conference.
TM Forum’s Excellence Awards recognize the global leaders in communications and acknowledge the contributions that take our the IT industry into new and innovative directions. The Awards specifically seek to highlight service providers and solution provider companies that demonstrate commitment to evolution of the industry through support, adoption and advances in critical standards the TM Forum delivers through its Collaboration Community.
BT Compute Management System (CMS) enables the rapid construction and operation of digital ecosystems. It is designed to give CIOs a single point of control to orchestrate their cloud resources, wherever they are hosted. CMS is at the heart of BT's Cloud of Clouds vision announced in April 2015 and already underpins some of its most innovative cloud offerings.
