Cyber Security worldwide
Cyber security
Based on 500 hundred interviews with IT decision-makers in enterprise-sized organisations across seven countries and four major sectors - finance, pharmaceutical, retail and government - BT’s research assesses attitudes to cyber security, emerging threats and levels of preparedness.
It provides important insight into the ever-changing cyber threat landscape and the challenge it poses for organisations globally. And crucially, it reveals risks to business are moving too fast for a purely reactive security approach to be successful.

Attitudes to threats vary significantly from country to country, according to the BT research. US and UK organisations fear non-malicious insider threats above other risks – but hacktivism is more of a worry to firms in America than in Britain.
And there are wide differences from sector to sector, too. 43% of retail CEOs see cyber security as a priority, compared to just 28 per cent in pharma.
