Overview

Network
BT has a comprehensive network infrastructure in Germany, linking almost all larger towns and conurbations in Germany, as well as three hosting centres. This enables us to provide a wide range of voice and data services, from voice telephony to MPLS-based virtual private networks (VPN). With bandwidths up to 10 Gbit/s, and network availability in excess of 99.99%, we provide smooth and reliable communication between your employees, suppliers, partners and customers. This is complemented by connectivity to BT’s global network, with coverage in more than 170 countries. BT also operates local fibre optic networks (City Fibre Networks) in Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Munich and Stuttgart.

Customers
BT works with many well-known German companies and institutions, including AOK, BASF AG, BMW Group, Media-Saturn Group, Premiere Fernsehen, Software AG, Schenker AG, and the Federal States of Bavaria, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saxony – to name only a few.

Partners
BT works closely with technology partners such as Cisco, HP, Siemens and Avaya in Germany on the development of new products and solutions, as well as on customer projects. German customers also benefit from BT’s global partnerships.

Awards & Certifications
In May 2005, BT Germany became the first company in the German telecommunications sector to obtain BS15000 certification (today: ISO 20000). This certification shows that our IT processes satisfy the stringent requirements of the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL). Additional certifications: ISO 27001 on the basis of IT-Grundschutz and ISO 9001 (Lloyd’s Register).
BT Germany has won several Cisco Awards:

- Cisco Award „Star of Excellence“ (Sept 2006 for excellent customer satisfaction)

Customer satisfaction is at the heart of BT's strategy. German customers have access to the BT customer service centre in Eschborn near Frankfurt, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year – a single point of service for everything from questions about an invoice, or changing a service configuration, to monitoring, fault tracing and rectification.
