Our new Cloud of Clouds Technology Vision
Our vision is to help you move confidently and successfully along your journey to cloud whilst minimising the complexity, risk and cost. To give you a choice of roadmaps that work for your organisation, in a way that will deliver the results you need without creating any blind alleys, U-turns or future issues.
We call this the ‘cloud of clouds’ – our new technology vision - and our role is as the cloud services integrator.
The journey to the cloud is not an easy undertaking. It’s not just a case of buying ‘the cloud’. There is the technology aspect, but also the management of people and processes involved. It’s about transformation. Moreover, very few organisations would be comfortable putting all their business over the internet. This means a mix of environments is required to address operational and commercial requirements. With our infrastructure, services, tools, people, experience, and relationships, we’re confident we’re in the best position to make your cloud transformation a reality as your Cloud Services Integrator.
Luis Alavarez, BT Global Services CEO, shares more on the Cloud of Clouds vision here.

Our Speaking Session - at a Glance:
Every organisation knows about the benefits of the cloud – more flexibility, less cost; computing capacity, applications, services on demand and more. By next year, most of the money organisations spend on IT will be in the cloud but will you be making the most of the cloud? Research suggests not. While six out of ten think the cloud can help them deal with their challenges, nearly seven out of ten are proceeding with cautionary, tactical projects.
To be most effective, the journey to the cloud should be transformative. BT’s new technology vision - Cloud of Clouds – is about finding the right blend of cloud services, infrastructure, processes, skills and experiences to create a complete cloud roadmap that suits your business and operational goals. The CIO is the force behind that transformation: this session provides insights into the creative mind-set required to build your cloud roadmap, delivering the results you need.
