As our world becomes ever more digital we face new and complex security challenges that span technology, business and policy.
Emerging technologies, such as quantum systems and AI, find uses in both attack and defence. Sophisticated threats such as ransomware, subversion of infrastructure and information warfare require sophisticated deterrence and response. Cybersecurity is now a boardroom issue.
BT and MIT will co-host the CSAIL Cybersecurity Summit: Securing the Enterprise, on October 31st at the MIT Kresge Auditorium, Cambridge MA.
This one day event will bring 500 attendees, including global security professionals, government officials, and academic experts that will discuss responses to key trends in Cyber Security, including issues and opportunities in management, policy, technology, society, training and education.
The conference will feature inspiring keynote speakers and expert led sessions as well as an MIT Startup post reception. In his keynote speech, Mark Hughes, CEO BT Security, will look at what the global network is telling us, the challenges enterprises and governments face and how we need to prepare for the future.
There will also be panel sessions where industry specialists and government officials will discuss topics ranging from: data & privacy, security frontiers, security policies and case studies.
