Sanjay Uppal
Senior Vice President and General Manager VMware, VeloCloud
Sanjay is responsible for the VeloCloud business in the networking and security business unit at VMware.
Before joining VMware, Sanjay was CEO and co-founder of VeloCloud Networks and grew the company to become a leader in the fast-growing SD-WAN space.
He’s also served as President and COO of the publicly traded OnMobile Global and has held executive roles at Citrix, Webvan and Hewlett-Packard.
He has a Management of Technology Master’s degree from Stanford University, as well as one in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
He enjoys cycling, trail running, making gadgets, watching cult movies (The Big Lebowski), and gardening with his family.
