BT divests its staffing unit in The Netherlands

BT agrees sale of BT Advise Staffing, our specialised staffing business in the Netherlands.

CEO, Business

Today we announced the sale of BT Advise Staffing, our specialised staffing business in the Netherlands, to Meeesters in IT, a leading IT staffing provider in the country.

This is a smaller deal than the one announced in Germany in October, but it is built on the same rationale and is good news for employees, BT and Meeesters in IT.

It is another step in our transformation journey as we focus our business on the growing network, cloud and security needs of 800 multinational customers, simplifying our portfolio of digital services and strengthening our service and support for customers across the globe.

BT Advise Staffing has been part of BT for over twenty years. The business consists of a consulting unit delivering project managers, service managers and network engineers to more than 30 customers within The Netherlands. It is a reliable, well-established partner for a multitude of companies and public-sector clients – and I know it will thrive within Meeesters in IT.

Global Services will continue to focus on serving multinational companies in the Benelux. Indeed, the region is home to some of our key customers, including the EU institutions, NATO and Eurocontrol in Belgium and DE Master Blenders 1753 and Randstad in the Netherlands. Our customers benefit from our significant network infrastructure, state-of-the-art data centres and a strong team of digital, networking and security experts.
