Cisco Webex Meetings service on shared site is retired

Overview

Cisco Webex Meetings service on shared site with Price Per Minute (PPM) charges is retired on 30 April 2024. The service ended after this date.

New sale, renewal, change of the service and add new user is no longer supported.

Notes: The service retirement is not related to other BT Cisco Webex offerings including Webex Meetings on dedicated site, Webex Calling and Cloud Voice.

What are your options?

Our new offer Webex Meetings with BT packages Webex Meetings with our managed services, including user adoption, 24x7x365 service desk support and in-life support. Webex Meetings with BT offers a simple per user per month pricing model (minimum 150 Meetings Users), giving you predictable costs and avoiding nasty surprises. A new dedicated Webex site can be set up for your organisation, with customised policy and configuration.

Webex Meetings with BT lets you host or join the meetings from anywhere and at any time, from web browsers, desktop/mobile app, or your video device.  The user experience is enhanced with intelligent Webex features including noise removal, note taking and transcription. Collaboration from anywhere with the Webex App, allowing you to make 1:1 calls, schedule meetings and messaging on the go.

 

What happens next?

The service is no longer available after 30 April 2024.

You need to inform your users to download all of the data and recordings from their Webex accounts before the service is retired to avoid data loss.

If you already have Webex Meetings with BT, you can migrate the users to your dedicated site by creating new user account. Contact BT Meetings service desk for assistance.
