End of Life for Productivity Tools

Overview

Cisco has announced the replacement of Productivity Tools with Webex Scheduler. The last Webex release which will support Productivity Tools is version 42.6. (June release).

The Webex Scheduler uses built-in Microsoft Outlook delegate settings. This means that your users will no longer need to specify the schedule on behalf privileges from their Webex site.

Impact description

If you do not complete the migration until the end of June, Cisco will no longer provide updates and bug fixes to your Productivity Tools. It will continue to work until Microsoft blocks it.

This announcement applies to both Latest and Slow channel customers. Cisco Webex Scheduler is currently backward compatible with meetings scheduled using Productivity Tools.

What do you need to do?

Migrate your Productivity Tool to Webex Scheduler (M365 add-in). For more details and deployment guides, please check this article.

If you decide to set up Cisco Webex Scheduler without authorisation for Office 365, please contact BT helpdesk support.
