Stephen Greene

Managing Director, Operations

Stephen is responsible for the delivery and service for our multinational customers around the world.

Stephen was appointed as Managing Director, Operations in October 2021. He reports to our CEO.

Stephen leads a team of 7,000 operations professionals with the unit having overall responsibility for designing, delivering, and servicing customer solutions for multinationals. 

He joined BT in 2007 and has held roles including venue telecoms manager for the BT infrastructure for the road cycling events at the 2012 Olympics, as well as leading our delivery operations for AMEA from our Hong Kong office.

Over the past seven years, Stephen has led global functions within our operations, including most recently our in-life customer service capability.

In June 2021, Stephen was awarded an MBE in the Queen's birthday honours list 2021 for services to BT and our colleagues and customers' safety during the pandemic.

Stephen holds an MSc in Natural Science from the University of Cambridge.
