Managing director, design, delivery and service operations

Thomas is responsible for the customer service of all our customers around the world.

Thomas was appointed president, design, delivery and service operations in September 2017. He reports to our CEO.

As the president for design, delivery and service operations, Thomas leads a team of 9,000 service professionals, solution architects, design consultants, programme managers and client partners. The unit has overall responsibility for designing, delivering and servicing networked IT services for some of BT’s biggest multinational customers. Thomas is also charged with transforming the service experience for our customers and the business.

During his 25-year career in the outsourcing and IT services industry, Thomas has held senior roles in account and general management functions, service operations and finance, and has led large transformational programmes. Thomas has worked and lived in North America, Germany, The Netherlands, India, and The Philippines, and managed 2,000+ strong teams across the globe.

Thomas joined us in October 2006. He is an Austrian national, is married and lives in London.
