Lorenzo’s research focus spans key processes such as supply chain management, product life-cycle management, and manufacturing operations management in multiple manufacturing verticals.
This includes automotive, aerospace, machinery, high-tech, chemicals, CPG, and fashion.
He also handles the IT spending forecast models and IDC manufacturing insights' global production index data.
Before joining IDC, Lorenzo worked as an analyst on multiple projects, including research in the industrial logistics sector and as an advisor for public authorities in Italy. He holds an MSc degree in regional science from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and he graduated cum laude at the Bocconi University in Milan.
