BT Federal achieves authority to operate critical infrastructure solutions for the US Government

BT Federal has received the Authority to Operate (ATO) under the General Services Administration’s (GSA) 15-year, $50bn Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions (EIS) program.

EIS is a best-in-class government-wide program for US federal agencies to procure information technology and telecommunications infrastructure. The awarding of the ATO sends a clear signal that BT Federal is capable of providing industry-leading network and security solutions required for mission-critical services.

Under the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), BT Federal’s Business Support System (BSS) underwent extensive accreditation via the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework Assessment and Authorization process.  With GSA’s BSS accreditation complete, BT Federal stands ready to receive and implement orders from Government agencies.
